- How long does a studio headshot sitting take?
- A standard studio headshot session usually runs between 45 and 60 minutes, which leaves plenty of time for two or three outfit changes and different lighting styles. For corporate teams on location, we schedule rolling slots — typically five to ten minutes per person — so your team stays productive and nobody waits around.
- What should I wear for a professional headshot?
- Wear clothes that fit well and make you feel confident. Solid, mid-tone colors — blues, jewel tones, grays and rich neutrals — photograph best, and it is worth avoiding tight, distracting patterns or logos. Bringing layers like a blazer, cardigan or leather jacket lets us capture multiple distinct looks in a single session.
- How many finished images do I receive?
- For a one hour studio shoot you will review an online proof gallery of 30 to 60 images. You then select your top favorites for full hand-retouching, and additional retouched files can always be added later directly from your gallery.
- Can you match the look of our existing corporate team headshots?
- Yes. If your company has brand guidelines or existing headshots on a specific gray, white or colored background, send us a sample. We will match the crop, lighting ratio and background tone so new team members blend seamlessly onto your website.
- Where is your photography studio located?
- Our private, fully equipped photography studio is in New Orleans, Louisiana, easily reached from Downtown, the French Quarter, Mid-City, Uptown and Metairie. We also travel on location throughout the greater New Orleans metro area, the Northshore and Baton Rouge.
- Do you travel to our office for on-location corporate team headshots?
- Regularly. I bring a full studio — backdrop, Profoto lighting, stands and tethering — to corporate, business and education settings. I just need about a ten by twelve foot corner with a power outlet.
- How fast is delivery?
- Headshot photography session proofs are usually available within one to two weeks, and retouched selects within a week of your choices. Same-day turnaround is available for a small fee, and conference headshot lounges are delivered to attendees on-site within minutes.
- Do you shoot LinkedIn and corporate profile headshots?
- Constantly. A clean, well-lit profile picture on a solid background is the most requested sitting in the studio, and the same session can produce a second, looser look for your website or speaker bio.
- How much does a New Orleans headshot session cost?
- Sessions are priced by the hour and listed openly in the store — studio, on-location, and office sittings where we bring the lighting and backdrop to your team. No forms to fill out to see a price.
