Marc's studio has a fine art lab printer that can print up to 24"x100' on heavy museum-grade cotton rag paper or modern luster paper, creating heirloom physical pieces built to last generations.

- Should I book a studio session or shoot on location?
- Both offer distinct advantages. The private Tremé studio provides complete control over lighting and climate, making it ideal for classic fine art, clean contemporary looks, and summer sessions away from New Orleans heat. On-location sessions add atmospheric context and neighborhood character—perfect if you have a meaningful courtyard, park, or creative workspace in mind. We are always happy to help you decide based on your vision.
- What should I wear for my portrait session?
- Wear clothing that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors, rich textures (knits, jackets, layered collars), and timeless cuts photograph best. We recommend bringing two or three outfit options so we can capture a versatile mix of formal, casual, and creative looks without doubling session time.
- Where is your studio located?
- Sessions take place in Marc’s private portrait studio located in New Orleans’ historic Tremé neighborhood, just minutes from the French Quarter and downtown. The space is private, air-conditioned, and equipped with professional studio lighting and changing areas.
- I hate having my picture taken and always feel awkward. Can you help?
- Almost everyone feels nervous at the start of a shoot. Marc has spent thirty years perfecting gentle, natural direction that takes the guesswork out of posing. We put some music on, talk through the session, and keep the energy light and fun. You will never be asked to hold stiff, unnatural poses.
- How long does a session take?
- Studio sessions typically run 45 to 60 minutes, which allows ample time for multiple lighting setups and outfit changes. Outdoor and environmental location sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes to allow for relaxed walking and varying backgrounds.
- When and how do I receive my finished photos?
- Your private online proofing gallery is ready within approximately two weeks. From there, you select your favorite frames for final custom retouching (color calibration, gentle skin softening, and blemish removal). High-resolution files and web-ready copies are delivered via direct download.
- Do the image files include watermarks, and can I make my own prints?
- No watermarks ever. All delivered final files are high-resolution, fully finished images that include personal printing rights. You can print them anywhere you choose or share them across social and personal websites.
- Can I order archival fine art prints directly through you?
- Yes. We partner with premier professional print labs to offer museum-grade archival cotton rag prints, framed pieces, and canvases directly through your gallery storefront.
