We spend time meticuolously lighting and working on set to make sure nothing goes unnoticed. For example, in cocktail photography, condensation, foam and citrus oil all have a short life, so the frame is lit and locked before the bartender starts building and the whole build process is photographed along with the final product.
New Orleans Spirits and Beverage photography covers bottle and packaging images, cocktail and menu libraries, distillery and cooperage documentary, bartender, staff, and brand-ambassador portraits, in a city whose cocktail history goes all the way back to the Sazerac, known as America's first named/branded cocktail, which was invented in 1838 by Creole apothecary Antoine Peychaud at his Royal Street shop.
