- How quickly do you reply to inquiries?
- Marc answers client messages personally. You can typically expect a response within an hour or two during normal business hours, and always within one business day. If your inquiry is time-sensitive (for example, a last-minute event or surprise proposal happening this weekend), calling or texting (504) 343-5364 is the quickest route.
- How far in advance should I book?
- New Orleans weddings and major multi-day conventions at the Morial Convention Center often book 6 to 18 months in advance, especially during the peak fall and spring festival seasons. Studio headshots, individual portraits, and surprise proposals can often be scheduled with 1 to 3 weeks' notice, depending on weekly calendar availability.
- Where is your studio located?
- Studio portraiture, headshots, and traditional 4x5 sheet film sittings take place at Marc's private studio in the historic Tremé neighborhood of New Orleans, just blocks from the French Quarter. To ensure uninterrupted privacy and dedicated focus for every client sitting, studio visits and consultations are by appointment only.
- Can we schedule a call or consultation before booking?
- Absolutely. A phone call or video consultation is a great way to talk through your vision, timeline, shot lists, and package options. Simply mention in your note that you'd like to set up a quick phone consultation, and Marc will coordinate a time that fits your schedule.
- Do you travel for shoots outside of New Orleans?
- Yes. Beyond regular shoots across Louisiana (Baton Rouge, the Northshore, and River Road historic estates), Marc regularly travels across the United States and internationally for destination weddings, commercial campaigns, and editorial assignments. Travel logistics and transparent expenses are quoted upfront with zero surprise fees.
- What details should I include in my message for an accurate quote?
- Sharing your anticipated date or timeframe, the type of shoot (wedding, commercial, executive headshots, family, or event), the location or venue, and any known timeline details or team headcounts helps us confirm calendar availability and provide tailored pricing right away.
