ABOUT THIS SESSION
All on-location New Orleans engagement portrait photography sessions include up to one hour (or more if you book a longer session) of photography, basic editing, unlimited wardrobe changes (as session time allows), and an online gallery where you'll be able to share images with friends and family as well as on social media. You can purchase prints directly from the gallery if you choose, as well. We also have books, cards, and other products.
Your session fee also includes high-res downloads of all of the edited images 60 days after the gallery goes live. In the meantime, you'll be able to download medium-res watermarked images.
You can decide the duration of the session and the location (or consult with Marc for ideas about what fits best for your vision of the portrait). Locations more than 10 miles from Marc Pagani Photography will incur a travel fee, to be discussed prior to session. Fees increase on weekends and holidays. Note that because Marc Pagani Photography sets aside the date and time of your session and does not book any other shoots during that time, session fees are non-refundable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SESSION
- Where should we take our New Orleans engagement photos?
- We can shoot anywhere you envision: historic French Quarter streets and secluded courtyards, the moss-draped live oaks of City Park or Audubon Park, the Garden District, or along the Mississippi riverfront. If you have a spot that is special to your relationship—like the café where you first met—we can build the session around it.
- What if the forecast calls for rain on the day of our engagement shoot?
- Rain showers in South Louisiana are usually brief and leave behind clean, reflective streets and dramatic skies. Every outdoor engagement session has a rain plan mapped out beforehand, utilizing covered verandas, historic hotel lobbies, or courtyards. If continuous downpours make shooting impractical, we reschedule to an alternate date.
- How many outfits can we wear during an engagement session?
- We suggest bringing two distinct outfits: one dressier, elevated look (a suit jacket, cocktail dress, or evening attire) and one relaxed, casual outfit that lets you move and walk comfortably through the neighborhood.
- When do we receive our finished engagement photos?
- Within approximately 3 days of your session, Marc delivers a curated set of sneak-peek favorites to share with friends and family. The full, color-corrected and edited gallery is delivered within 2 to 3 weeks, ready for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and guest sign-in books.
- What image files and downloads are included?
- Your session fee includes medium-resolution watermarked downloads immediately upon gallery delivery, and full-resolution downloads of all edited images 60 days after the gallery goes live. All final downloads include personal printing rights.
- Can our engagement session fee be applied toward a wedding photography collection?
- If you haven't yet booked your wedding day coverage, ask us about combining your engagement portraits into a comprehensive wedding collection. Some of our wedding packages already include a complimentary engagement session.
