ABOUT THIS SESSION
All on-location New Orleans wedding proposal photography sessions include photography of the proposal, followed by a mini engagement portrait session, if you choose. The fee also includes basic editing and an online gallery where you'll be able to share images with friends and family as well as on social media. You can purchase prints directly from the gallery if you choose, as well. We also have books, cards, and other products.
Your session fee also includes high-res downloads of all of the edited images 60 days after the gallery goes live. In the meantime, you'll be able to download medium-res watermarked images.
You can decide the duration of the session and the location (or consult with Marc for ideas about what fits best for your vision of the proposal). Locations more than 10 miles from Marc Pagani Photography will incur a travel fee, to be discussed prior to session. Additional fees for weekends/holidays. Note that because Marc Pagani Photography sets aside the date and time of your session and does not book any other shoots during that time, session fees are non-refundable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SESSION
- How do you keep the proposal a complete surprise without being noticed?
- Marc scouts the exact location beforehand, arrives early, and blends in seamlessly from a distance using long telephoto lenses—looking like just another tourist or local enjoying the city. Your partner will have no idea a professional photographer is documenting the moment until after you've popped the question and they've said yes.
- What if our proposal timing runs late or the crowd shifts?
- Proposals rarely run to the exact minute, and that is completely fine. We set a flexible 30- to 45-minute window rather than a rigid minute. You'll send a discreet text when you are en route, and Marc will be in position watching for you. We also identify a secondary nearby backup spot in case an unexpected street performer or tour group occupies the primary location.
- Do we get portraits together right after the proposal?
- Yes. Immediately following the proposal, Marc steps forward, introduces himself, and we spend 20 to 30 minutes capturing a romantic mini-engagement session while the adrenaline and joy are fresh.
- Can you help me choose the best proposal spot and time of day in New Orleans?
- Yes. Marc has photographed proposals all across New Orleans for decades and can recommend quiet, picturesque locations—from secluded French Quarter alleyways and private courtyards to Jackson Square fountain views and ancient oak groves in City Park—timed perfectly to catch golden afternoon light.
- How quickly do we get photos to share the news with family and friends?
- We know you want to announce your engagement quickly. Marc delivers a selection of sneak-peek favorites within 2 to 3 days so you can post on social media and text family. The full edited gallery is completed within 2 to 3 weeks.
- What image downloads are included with the proposal session?
- Your session includes an online proofing gallery with medium-resolution watermarked downloads right away, followed by high-resolution master downloads of all edited images with full printing rights 60 days after the gallery goes live.
