ABOUT THIS SESSION
All on-location New Orleans portrait photography sessions include up to one hour (or more if you book a longer session) of photography, basic editing, unlimited wardrobe changes (as session time allows), and an online gallery where you'll be able to share images with friends and family as well as on social media. You can purchase prints directly from the gallery if you choose, as well. We also have books, cards, and other products.
Your location portrait photography session fee also includes medium-res watermarked downloads of any/all of your images and high res downloads of 10 of your favorites, which can be edited further if you'd like. All downloads include printing rights, so you can print as many as you'd like at whatever size you'd like. Additional image files can be purchased for a discounted fee of $25/file.
You can decide the duration of the session and the location (or consult with Marc for ideas about what fits best for your vision of the portrait). Locations more than 10 miles from Marc Pagani Photography will incur a travel fee, to be discussed prior to session. Additional fee for weekend/holiday. Note that because Marc Pagani Photography sets aside the date and time of your session and does not book any other shoots during that time, session fees are non-refundable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SESSION
- Who chooses the location for an on-location portrait?
- You do. We can shoot at your home, your creative workspace, a historic French Quarter courtyard, City Park, or any corner of New Orleans that holds personal or professional meaning for you. If you aren't sure where to shoot, tell Marc the style and mood you're aiming for, and he will recommend locations with ideal lighting, architecture, and texture.
- How far will you travel, and is there a travel fee?
- Locations within 10 miles of Marc Pagani Photography are included with no additional travel charge. For locations further than 10 miles—including the Northshore, Baton Rouge, River Road plantations, or beyond—a straightforward travel fee is quoted and agreed upon prior to your session.
- What happens if it rains or Louisiana weather doesn't cooperate?
- New Orleans weather shifts quickly, and pop-up showers often pass in twenty minutes. Every outdoor session includes a built-in backup plan with covered porches, colonnades, or nearby interior options. If severe weather or downpours make shooting impossible, we reschedule without penalty.
- What should I wear for an outdoor or environmental portrait?
- Choose clothing you feel confident and comfortable in that fits your natural style. Solid colors, rich jewel tones, and warm neutrals photograph beautifully against New Orleans brick, greenery, and wrought iron. Bring a second layer or jacket to switch up your look easily, and wear comfortable walking shoes between shooting spots.
- What image files and downloads are included?
- You receive up to one hour of photography (or longer if booked), professional editing, an online gallery, watermarked downloads of all proof frames, and high-resolution downloads of 10 chosen favorites with complete personal printing rights. Extra high-res files are available for $25 each.
- Are commercial or editorial licensing rights available for location portraits?
- Yes. Personal branding and standard marketing uses (website, LinkedIn, social media, press releases) are covered under the standard session. If the portraits are destined for book jackets, national advertising campaigns, or commercial product endorsements, custom licensing can be arranged before or after the shoot.
